NPTC's Standards of Fleet Excellence is a copyrighted 158-page document designed to help qualify and quantify the value of a company's private fleet using criteria - including best practices, benchmarks, protocols and metrics - commonly found in many of America's leading private fleets.

Surveys and Benchmarking

NPTC conducts an annual Private Fleet Benchmarking Survey designed to (1) validate private fleet performance based on comparative peer data, (2) identify areas of improvement and opportunity, and (3) identify the significant trends affecting private fleet practitioners. Sponsored by PeopleNet, preliminary results of the survey are announced at the NPTC Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition each year. Final results are made available to all NPTC members.
