ARLINGTON, VA – Four truck drivers who have together logged nearly 16 million miles of safe driving in approximately 165 combined years of service were honored by the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) and inducted into the NPTC/Lytx® Driver Hall of Fame during the Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition held April 24-26, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH.

The drivers are from NPTC member companies and have met the minimum qualifications of 20 years, 3 million miles or 50,000 hours of driving without a preventable accident. Many of the drivers have far exceeded these qualifications and are known for having made significant contributions to their industry and their communities. Since its inception, 104 drivers have been installed in the Driver Hall of Fame. This year’s Driver Hall of Fame inductees are:

Bradley P. Conn
CVS Transportation, LLC

Brad has been driving for 32 years. In that time, he has accumulated 3.2 million miles without an accident or a moving violation.

A native of Somerset, PA, Brad literally followed in the footsteps of his father who was also a truck driver. He branched out on his own, buying his own truck and hauling steel when he was 21. He joined Revco (which was later acquired by CVS in November 1994) on a part-time basis and a year later, he was driving for the company full-time. He is currently based out of CVS’s Somerset, PA distribution center from which he runs five round trip store runs each week, delivering an average of 12 stores throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland New York and Virginia.

In his time with Revco and CVS his commitment to safety and his safety accomplishments have continued to produce outstanding results. In those 21 years, he has racked up close to 2 million miles without an accident or moving violation.

He has won numerous safe driving awards and last year was named the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association Driver of the Year. He has also been an active member of the CVS Accident Review Board and was involved in the Revco Truck Roadeo program for several years. He remains active in his church and is a past youth leader and has served on the church board.
