NPTC Announces Board Election Results

Alexandria, VA – Gary Petty, President and CEO of The National Private Truck Council (NPTC), is pleased to announce the results of a special election held to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors.

Robert J. Boyich, Vice President, Sales and Marketing of CPC Logistics, Inc. was elected to fill the remaining 19 months of a two-year term representing the Allied Small Suppler Division.

Mr. Boyich began his career in the transportation industry in 1978 with Western Manufacturers Service in Stockton, California. He purchased that company and later formed Energy Personnel, which provided truck operators to a number of energy-related private fleets. After selling the company to CPC Logistics, Inc. he joined them as Operations Vice President in 1992. Mr. Boyich is currently responsible for national sales and marketing efforts for CPC Logistics, Inc.

Mr. Boyich is a former Associate Board Member of NPTC and has been an author and instructor of NPTC’s Fleet Management Institute. He has been a presenter at NPTC’s Annual Education Management Conferences and has attended almost every NPTC Annual Conference since 1978.

Mr. Boyich is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S.) and has a Master of Science degree (M.B.A.) from California State University, Bakersfield.
