NPTC Announces Fleet Graphics Awards

Cincinnati, OH – Arhaus Furniture of Walton Hills, OH captured the grand prize winner in the Commercial Vehicle Graphics Awards sponsored by the National Private Truck Council and Commercial Carrier Journal magazine. The awards were presented during a ceremony at the NPTC Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition, April 27-29, 2008, in Cincinnati, OH.

“This award recognizes fleets for their creative and conspicuous graphics design color schemes and general appearance which enhances the motor carrier industry’s public image and the image or products of the company operating the vehicles,” said Gary Petty, NPTC President and CEO. “This year, the judging was particularly challenging because the quality of design and graphics treatment continue to increase.”

Coming in second place overall was All Makes Office Equipment of Omaha, NE and in third place overall was Kraft Foods, Inc., of East Hanover, NJ

The top five winners in the Combination Vehicle Category included:

  • Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC, Nashville, TN
  • CHS, Inc., St. Paul, MN
  • Raynor Express Corporation, Dixon, IL
  • Swiss Valley Farms, Davenport, IA
  • Wal-Mart Transportation LLC, Bentonville, AR

The top five winners in the straight truck category included:

  • Chicago Tribune, Chicago, IL
  • Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Topeka, KS
  • Katzman Produce, Bronx, NY
  • Mackoul Distributors, Jacksonville, FL
  • Market Day, Itasca, IL
